DEC can be traded for STEEM on this Steem blockchain DEX.
Buying DEC for STEEM
Login to Steem-Engine.net with your Steem account, preferably by using the Steem Keychain browser extension (Chrome/Brave, Firefox,).
Deposit STEEM into your Steem-Engine wallet - your deposit will be automatically converted to STEEMP.
Go to The DEC Market Page and scroll down to the Buy DEC area.
Consult the Sell Orders below to locate the lowest-priced sell order for DEC, then fill in the Price field under Buy DEC with that price.
Next, enter the quantity of DEC you wish to purchase. The total cost of your order should fill in automatically once you have done this.
Double-check your numbers, then click the Buy DEC button and sign the transaction using Keychain.
Placing a Bid for DEC
To place a bid that is lower than any of the current Sell Orders, simply follow the same steps as above using the highest price you are willing to pay per DEC token. In this case, your Buy Order will stay open until it is filled.
Selling DEC for STEEM
Make sure your STEEM account is linked to your Splinterlands account.
Go to the DEC Menu in Splinterlands by clicking on your DEC balance.
Input the amount of DEC you wish to transfer to Steem-Engine and select Steem Engine Wallet from the dropdown.
Click the Transfer Out button and sign the transaction using Hive Keychain.
Go to the DEC Market page at Steem-Engine.net and scroll down to the Sell DEC area.
Consult the Buy Orders below to locate the highest priced buy order for DEC, then input that price into the Price field of the Sell DEC area.
Input the Quantity of DEC you wish to sell on the next line. The total STEEMP should be automatically filled in once you have done this.
Double-check your numbers, then click the Sell DEC button and sign the transaction using Keychain.
Transferring DEC into Splinterlands from Steem-Engine
Make sure your STEEM account is linked to your Splinterlands account.
Go to the DEC Menu in Splinterlands by clicking on your DEC balance. You should see your Steem-Engine balance of DEC on the left.
Enter the amount of DEC you would like to transfer into the game, then select Steem Engine Wallet from the dropdown menu.
Click the Transfer In button and sign the transaction. The DEC should appear in your account within a few moments.
