Splinterlands Release Notes

Happy New Year!
As Winterfest winds down, the holiday shop tab and Avatar items will no longer appear in the shop. The gift boxes are, of course, still able to be opened and remember to double check your inventory to ensure that you didn’t miss any gifts!
Gameplay Updates
A new ruleset, Brute Force, has been added to the game. Under this modifier Units with the highest (individual) attack power attack first.

Rulesets are now more easily restricted from specific formats, and the number of modifiers appearing in Frontier mode has been reduced.
Stampede should no longer appear with Death Has No Power.
Fixed a rare issue where Spite could incorrectly trigger twice when triggered off a blast from an execute attack.
General Updates
Premium Avatar Backgrounds and Frames have been added to the Avatar shop page.

A new chapter has been added to the Campaign prologue covering Avatar creation.
If you have not previously created an Avatar, you will now be initially shown the select Bloodline display instead of showing the default human male.
Fixed some mismatched naming on human avatar complexion options.
The match up with opponent display has been updated with a new brief scene of opposing avatars.

A new outro display has been added to the end of matches.
A new setting has been added to skip the new avatar match displays.
A red dot indicator has been added to the Updates tab in the main lobby. It appears if there are new posts since the last time you visited that tab. This is saved locally in the browser, and may reappear across different devices or if the cache is cleared.
Added a button linking to the Reward shop from the weekly draw section of the lobby, in case you wish to purchase additional entries with Glint.
Fixed the display of avatars shown for the past weekly draw winners. Previously it was just showing the default model for everyone.
Added an up arrow to the top of the footer on smaller screens, mainly for mobile devices, that will scroll back to the top of the screen when pressed.
A confirmation display has been added to the land resource trade hub, clearly indicating the region you are swapping resources to and from.
The bloodline of cards is now shown on the initial Manage worksite display.
A filter has been added to the Tournaments page to show only tournaments where the Exemplar card is playable.
Fixed a display issue when trying to transfer, or lock, plots when you had selected them across multiple regions.
Fixed some issues where duplicate buffs would show up on some Units in battle - which was just a display issue and units didn’t actually have duplicate buffs.
Added Gladius Cases to the all packs shop page, which will redirect to the Guild Shop if you are in a guild or the guilds page if you are not currently in one.
Fixed some sizing issues where the Choose Your Path choice for new players, i.e. to do the Campaign or not, was not fitting properly on some smaller displays.
A number of minor graphical and text improvements were made to some chapters of the Campaign.
