**Gameplay Updates**

* Final Rest has been changed to only work once per game on an enemy Rebirth, Resurrect, Resurgence, or Soul Siphon - provided the Unit doesn’t have Last Word. This will reset if the Unit with Final Rest is resurrected itself.

**General Updates**

* The Splintervibes in Frontier Jackpots and Minor Chests have been restocked with new tracks!
* The Splintervibe shop has been restocked with 10 new tracks, available for a variety of currencies.
* Added a preview of card skins that you don’t own under card details, along with a link to the non-card market for that skin.
* Added a filter “Skins For Sale” that will filter the card details to show cards where you have a skin listed on the non-card market.
* Due to concerns over inappropriate content, markdown text in guilds and tournaments has been removed and is now only basic text.
* Fixed the on-hover display of some abilities on Rebellion era cards in Team Create.
* The leaderboard will now scroll down to your position, if you are on that leaderboard.
* Made some changes to try to ensure that Tactics submission is more stable.
* Fixed some issues with the way the How To Play information is displayed on smaller screens.
* Fixed a typo in the Silver shield Warrior lore.
* Made changes to the frequency and ordering of tooltips for new players.
* Made some changes to try to improve the speed of end of season processing.

### 2026-04-07

**Gameplay Updates**

* The Terms of Service have been updated denoting that there is 1 entry only per person, or per household, or per family member for the new seasonal Ascension tournaments.&#x20;
* In Survival ranked play, if you beat an opponent with more than 1,000 rating higher than yours, you will gain 60 rating and they will lose 60 rating.
* In Survival ranked play, if you beat an opponent with more than 500 rating higher than yours, but less than 1,000, you will gain 40 Rating and they will lose 40 rating.
* In Survival, the bot difficulties have been adjusted for the following brackets:
  * In bracket 4, **bots now have a Gold summoner cap.**
  * In bracket 5, **bots now** **have a Diamond summoner cap.**
  * In bracket 6, **bots now** **have a Diamond summoner cap.**
* The rating reset for Survival has been changed from 260 to 0. Easy liquidity bots have been added to the very low end of most manual Survival brackets.
* Determined will now only trigger a second attack if the attacker is still alive after the initial attack misses and this attack is not a Spite attack (as the unit is technically dead).

**General Updates**

* Challenge and Practice now feature new Frontier and Ghost Frontier options!
* The Leaderboard box on the battle lobby has been reworked to display how much rating you need to advance in rank. If you are not on the leaderboard, it will show how many battles you still need to meet the 100 needed to get onto the leaderboard.
* A new Extra card variant history section has been added.
* The header in card details now sticks to the top of the screen when scrolling through cards.
* The Guild Library deposit page will now show copies of cards that you have already deposited, so you can more easily see what you have put in already.
* Fixed an issue with the Arcane variant filters on the Guild Library not working appropriately.
* An Owned filtering option has been added to the non-card market.
* In the card market, when sorting by price/cc there is now a secondary sort on overall price.
* Fixed an issue where Foundation cards were incorrectly being displayed on the Rentable filter.
* Fixed an issue where some reward chest Jackpot cards were incorrectly showing up under the Recent Winners for the weekly Fortune draws.
* Fixed an issue where watched tournament battles were showing as New still.
* Fixed an issue where Splintervibes were not autoplaying, if previously playing, when logging back into the game.
* The current week of unstaking SPS is now displayed on the SPS Management page when you have pending unstaking.
* The Survival Academy panel has been updated to reflect the new reward system.
* A new Sketched set of skins has been added as a reward for players that helped QA test Conclave Arcana.
* Further refinements were made to the How To Play → Filters section.
* Made some changes to improve system stability around battle resolution.
* Updated some text when linking external wallets for better accuracy, and removed some warnings for networks where you cannot send tokens across.

**New Land Craftable Cards**

* Two new cards will be craftable using land resources and Cinder will be added to the game. A maximum of 60,000 copies each will be able to be crafted. **Survival Revamp**

* Per this passed [proposal](https://peakd.com/@sps.dao/sps-governance-proposal-survival-mode-reward-structure-adjustment) the SPS rewards for Survival have been paused. The highlights of this change are:
  * Each bracket now has a set GLINT reward pool that will be split among the participants.
  * There are now GLINT leaderboard prizes in each bracket.
  * Additionally a new card will be given out everyone that finished with a 50% win rate at any place on the leaderboard, as well as additional copies to some of the higher leaderboard spots.
  * 25 Ranked Draw tokens will be given out to everyone that wins at least 50 matches by the end of the season.
  * The top 25 of each bracket will earn an entry token into a tournament that will run following the end of the season.

* A new ruleset, Pandamonium, has been added to the game. When this rule is in play, all units will start the battle in a random position.

**General Updates**

* Coinbase has stopped offering its Coinbase Commerce service, so all Coinbase payment options have been disabled in-game. We are working on getting set-up in their replacement Coinbase Business program, and will enable Coinbase payments when this is completed.
* Splintervibes will now automatically become enabled, if they were not already, upon obtaining one via the shop or in a chest.
* Fixed an issue where the on-hover display of some abilities was showing incorrectly.
* Fixed an issue where some cards that could not be deposited would incorrectly display on the unfiltered Guild Library deposit page.
* Fixed the Modern filter not working on the guild library.
* Attempts to request keys or change your password will now perform additional checks that your keys haven’t been changed externally, and throw errors or warnings if appropriate.

**New Exclusive Shop Cards**

* Three new cards will be rotating into the Exclusive shop, available for purchase with Vouchers only. **Guild Lending Library**

* A new guild building has been added where you can deposit cards for other members of your guild to borrow! This should make it easier for guilds to share cards. All guilds start with a level 1 library building, and it can be upgraded to allow users to deposit more cards.

* Cards put into the library are treated as if they had been delegated. If you wish to sell or rent out those cards instead, you will first need to remove them from the library.
* You can remove cards from the library even if they are currently borrowed, which acts as an undelegation of the card.
* Leaving, or being kicked, from a guild will return all cards currently in, or borrowed from, the library.

**Gameplay Updates**

* Bulwark is no longer Dispellable.
* The damage bonus from Shadow Focus is no longer Dispellable.
* Fixed an issue with Kindred Will: Deflection Shroud breaking the display of other buffs on the UI. They were still triggering, but the state was not being passed properly until the next time a unit had an update after initial buffs.
* Fixed an issue with Kindred Spirit: Strengthen not consistently applying Strengthen to the team.

**General Updates**

* You can now purchase Energy using Cinder, at the rate of 1.5X DEC prices (rounded up).

* The DAO can now distribute Glint as tournament prizing.
* Fixed some icons that were no longer displaying properly after the client build changes in the previous update.

* *Fixed an issue with the Active Key modal being overlaid by the burn cards modal for users not using Hive Keychain*.

### 2026-03-17

**Gameplay Updates**

* Divine Shield will no longer expire when the damage of an attack was reduced to zero by other abilities. This behavior was previously inconsistent between different types of damage reduction.
* Fixed an issue with Spite not triggering properly under very specific circumstances, where the death was triggered by Blast damage after an initial Spite attack and return to play.
* Fixed the description of Determined to indicate it is a once per round ability.

**General Updates**

* Added the option to view the ranked leaderboard either by ranking, excluding users with less than 100 battles, or by rating.
* Added the current rshare information into the Survival Leaderboard, as well as the total for the bracket.
* All Leonine bloodline cards have been changed to the Feliform bloodline to match earlier cards.
* The Dragonkin bloodline was removed from the search dropdown, as no cards are currently this bloodline.
* Fixed an issue where the Foundations->Extra cards were not appearing in Team Create if you filtered to Foundations.
* The How To Play, Challenge, and Practice buttons have been tweaked to be more visible on desktop.
* Cleaned up the spacing on mobile for arcane card notifications.
* Fixed an issue with trying to make a direct Credits purchase of BUSDC over $1,000.
* Fixed an issue where some tooltips about the currencies would incorrectly get the underlying tooltip for those currencies overlaid onto them when you hovered over the tooltip text.
* Survival Bracket rewards will now show up under Survival Rewards on the Currency Activity page.
* Fixed an issue with the Avatar resetting after buying a spellbook.
* Fixed an issue where the estimated Glint earnings in Bronze would incorrectly show as doubled if you had previously enabled burning SPS for Glint, and then dropped from Silver to Bronze.
* Accounts grouped under the same owner will now automatically draw in Tournaments if they match against one another. In Swiss tournaments the battles will resolve as a draw, while Single Elimination will handle the battle as if both users had not submitted a team before the time expired.

**Gameplay Updates**

* A new ruleset, Backlash, has been added to the game. When this rule is in play, all units that miss will take 2 true damage.

* Fixed an issue with Shadow Focus improperly removing stats when the unit with the ability was killed when Shadow Focus was not active.
* Melee Mayhem has been altered to grant all units Charge. This should be the equivalent to the previous behavior, but removes the need for special code checks on this ruleset. As part of this, a bad interaction between Wingbreak melee units and Melee Mayhem was fixed.
* Fixed an obscure issue with the UI display of Dispel that would occur when a unit had a buff and penalty that cancelled each other out. It should now immediately update the display of stats properly, rather than it being postponed until the next stat update on that unit.
* Updated Aim True to grant True Strike properly to all units, as stated in the description.
* Updated Close Range ruleset to grant Close Range properly to all units, as stated in the description.
* Updated Weak Magic to grant Void Armor to all units, rather than being a rule set that effectively did the same functionality.

**General Updates**

* Conclave Arcana has sold out! The countdown banner is no longer displayed and we have adjusted things to their previous positioning. The Prize/packs remaining display has been moved to the Conclave Arcana shop page.
* Per this [passed proposal](https://peakd.com/@sps.dao/sps-governance-proposal-start-the-survival-rewards-split-this-season) the total rewards for Survival have been split into 30% for manual play and 70% for automated play brackets, rather than splitting the entire pool by collection power used. However, within each of these two areas the rewards are still then further split by bracket based on CP contributions.
* Added an Upgradeable filter to the card collection that will show cards that can be increased in level (hides max level cards).
* The Ranked leaderboard now shows all players by rating that have played at least one battle during the season. Players without 100 battles do not show a ranking value.

* Additional tooltips for new players have been added to the battle lobby. All users will see these the first time they login after the update.
* Further refinements have been made to the How To Play pages for new players.
* Fixed an issue with Winterfest Boxes opened after packs had run out not properly sending Dark Energy Crystals in their place.
* Fixed an issue where Coinbase credits purchases weren't properly passing your bonus selection.

**Gameplay Updates**

* In Modern ranked play, if you beat an opponent with more than 1,000 rating higher than yours, you will gain 60 rating and they will lose 60 rating.
* In Modern ranked play, if you beat an opponent with more than 500 rating higher than yours, but less than 1,000, you will gain 40 Rating and they will lose 40 rating.
* The Terms of Service have been updated noting that you can only play one account in Modern Champion at a time.
* Updated the Decoy description to explicitly state that it is overridden by taunt.

**General Updates**

* In Survival, Diamond ranked players and up should now be matched much quicker.
* When applicable, you will now be presented with an option when combining cards to just combine them up to the next level of the highest card selected.
* When Shapeshift Happens is in play, the Element filter will now appear in Team Create for easier sorting.
* Added additional warning messages when opening Packs without potions.
* Added an option to not show potion warnings on the Mana Well.
* Fixed some spacing issues with the top of the Mana Well and the Conclave Arcana countdown banner.
* The mobile Team Create filtering can now have sections collapsed to have it take up less space.
* Added the missing link to the Variant History on the Escalation shop page.
* Added a section to the Profile where you can put down if someone is scholaring your account. This will display in match making and battle results.
* Added a countdown timer for Cloveria to the Exclusive shop page.
* Added a new Tokens section in How To Play and made the header sticky across the How To Play pages.
* Variant card notifications on desktop displays will now appear on the other side of the screen, to not overlap the Battle button.
* Added a Max button when listing fungible tokens on the non-card market.
* Fixed an issue with Escalation cards not appearing in the rental history API.

* The Conclave Arcana shop now has a default currency of DEC selected, instead of always forcing the user to pick a currency.
* Fixed the low currency links on the Escalation shop page to direct to the proper token, and not just Dark Energy Crystals.
* The How To Play tabs have had continued refinements as we continue to provide better information about how the game functions to new players.
* Harvesting land now only updates the tab that you have open, instead of any tabs logged into that account.
* Updated the no match found messaging based on your no liquidity bots setting.
* Fixed the daily quest progress window incorrectly displaying on battle results when spectating other player’s matches while not logged in.

### 2026-02-17

**General Updates**

* You can now choose to automatically burn your SPS rewards in Silver and above to increase your GLINT rewards. This effectively doubles your reward shares in the GLINT calculation.

The new survival format is very different from previous iterations: there’s 11 brackets to choose from with different restrictions on card levels and style of play, all rewards are seasonal, and the collection power played throughout the season determines the reward split between the brackets. * Fixed an issue where the Points displayed in the top status display of your tournament progress was showing tie-breaker points instead of primary points.

* The Splintervibes music player has been removed from the SPS page and added as a control under the master volume. The option to play these will only display if you own a Splintervibe track in the game.
  * A new Splintervibe page has been added under the Shop menu. 8 tracks will be available, with a limited print of 100 copies each, for a mix of Glint, Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), or land resources.
  * 200 Splintervibe tracks, 100 copies of the Venomchant and Big Decisions respectively, tracks can new be found in Minor chests, while supplies last. They have a 0.05% drop chance.
  * 200 Splintervibe tracks, 100 copies of the Flight Ends Here and Haunting Beauty respectively, tracks can new be found when claiming Frontier daily claims, while supplies last. They have a 0.05% drop chance.
  * Splintervibe tracks have been added to the non-card market. Currently there are more tracks listed than are obtainable, but we plan to add the others to the game in future updates.

* A holiday event, Amorendel, will run for the first season of February! Holiday backgrounds will appear in the battle lobby and arena, limited time Avatar outfits will be available in the Avatar shop, and a number of holiday skins will be available in the Reward shop!
* 10 different Sweetheart skins will be available in the Reward shop for either Glint or DEC for the duration of the event.
* 10 copies of 10 Obsessive skins, so 100 total, will be in Ultimate chests, while supplies last or until the event ends. They will have a 1% drop chance.
* A holiday ruleset, Hey Jealousy, will appear in some battles during the event. When this rule is in play, all units will target the unit on the opposing team with the highest health.

**Land**

* Time Crystals can now be obtained using Cinder.
  * 1 Time Crystal can be crafted with 135 Cinder in the Artisan Quarter.
  * Cinder has also been added as a purchase option on the Time Crystal Buy page.
  * As it costs 100 DEC to buy a Time Crystal, and burning a card worth 100 DEC would give you 150 Cinder (Cinder received = DEC burn value x 1.5), the 135 Cinder cost is a 10% discount off the DEC price, to encourage card burning.
* Phoenix Ash has been added to the game as a new craftable item in the Artisan Quarter.
  * 1 Phoenix Ash can be crafted with 4 Aura + 0.02 Time Crystals.
  * Phoenix Ash is tradeable on the Non-Card Market and a link to it has been added to the Consumables Shop page.
  * Phoenix Ash can be used to reduce unstaking cooldown when Non-Runi worker cards are removed from Land plots. One single Phoenix Ash reduces cooldown by 0.24 hours for a single card, meaning you need to use 100 to reduce cooldown by 1 day, and 300 to eliminate a card's unstaking cooldown period altogether. When you remove cards using the Worksite Slot Management screen, you will have the chance to optionally apply as many Phoenix Ashes as you wish, up to the maximum amount allowable for the number of cards you are removing. Ashes are applied in card removal order, moving from left to right following the display order of slots on the Worksite Slot Management screen.

**Gameplay Updates**

* The Standard (no modifiers) rule set will appear more often and three rule sets will appear less frequently.
* Silenced Archons has been removed from the game.
* Healed Out will appear less frequently.
* Equalizer will appear more frequently.
* Going The Distance will appear less frequently.
* Shades Of Gray will appear much less frequently.
* The Bloodmoon rule set has been turned back on with a very low chance of appearing.

**General Updates**

* The Credits system has been updated to add a service fee, which is to cover the fees we are charged for processing transaction by our various vendors - primarily Paypal.
  * All Paypal purchases under $25 will have a 7% fee.
  * All Paypal purchases between $25 and $100 a 5% fee.
  * All Paypal purchases of $100 or more will have a 3.5% fee.
  * All Crypto purchases of Credits will have a 1% service fee.
  * To help make up for these fees, we have introduced a bonus program where purchases of 100,000 Credits or more will earn in-game rewards. You have a choice of Starter Packs & Glint or Potions & Glint:

* The battle results screen has been rearranged slightly, and had some items on the claim progress window hidden. This should fit the content better on most screens.
* Fixed an issue with the non-card market filters not being scrollable on mobile sized screens. With larger lists, like Splintervibe tracks, it could block your ability to close the filter.
* New small videos advertising the Escalation set release have been added to the waiting for opponent bar.
* Added the ability to delegate “sell” authority to another account per user request. This will let that account sell unlocked cards on your account, so only grant this to accounts that you trust or own
* Fixed an issue with the Avatar showing the former element after changing them on some displays. It should now update on the display immediately.
* Updated the combine warning for account bound and non-account bound cards being combined to stand out more from the other text.
* Improved the way that time periods are displayed on various cooldown timers, notably card cooldown status on the Card Details collection sub-screen. These timers should now count down with a slightly smoother, more natural time period progression.
* The filters on the Other Items screen now stick near the top of the screen on desktop sized displays.
* The balances in the Reward shop on mobile sized displays should now stick near the top of the screen.
* The display immediately after combining cards has been improved and you should no longer see them incorrectly ordered briefly.
* The Crypto Recovery Fund page has been updated with the new entries [per this passed proposal](https://peakd.com/@cryptogamingrf/cgrf-sponsorship-proposal-january-2026-batch).
* A new tooltip for the weekly reward claims has been added to the game.

* Fixed a delay before the battle started displaying when the skip battle intro option is selected.
* Added a button to skip the rest of the Campaign and proceed to Frontier mode, if you had initially selected to do the Campaign when presented with the option after registering a new account, but changed your mind.
* The Exemplar colors will now show up more reliably in Tournaments where they are allowed.
* Cleaned up the display of more tooltips on mobile sized devices, where previously they were partially off the screen.
* Added some clarifying text on the Credits tooltip instructing you to press the + button to get them.

**Gameplay Updates**

* Fixed an issue where a Spite attack could stun an attacker, and if that attacker had multiple attacks their remaining attacks would trigger even though they were stunned.
* Fixed a couple of issues with Wingbreak. Ranged units with Wingbreak will now attack flying units from the first position. Melee units with Wingbreak will no longer attack as if they had charge when no flying units remain on the opposing team.

**General Updates**

* Fixed the display of rarity and foil of the Exemplar card based on its level on numerous screens.
* Fixed filtering by rarity during team create for the Exemplar card.
* Fixed an ear skin color mismatch issue with Orc Avatars when using certain earring settings.
* The Extra edition reward cards have been added to the variant history for ranked rewards. The new Frontier Jackpot card variants will also appear on the Frontier variant history.
* The Skip Battle Intro setting will now do something again, and skip the Avatar display at the start of battles if enabled.
* Added slightly more animation to the end of battle Avatars display.
* The Buy More button leading you to the reward shop in order to buy additional entries will no longer appear if you have not bought a pass for the current draw.
* The Match History page now has a breakdown of wins, losses, and draws.
* A handful of new tooltips were added for new players. You may see these the next time you login.
* Some mobile display updates for various tooltips, to fit better on small screens.
* Some additional Campaign UI refinement.
* The Terms of Service for Tournaments has been updated with clearer language.

**Happy New Year!**

* As Winterfest winds down, the holiday shop tab and Avatar items will no longer appear in the shop. The gift boxes are, of course, still able to be opened and remember to double check your inventory to ensure that you didn’t miss any gifts!

**Gameplay Updates**

* A new ruleset, Brute Force, has been added to the game. Under this modifier Units with the highest (individual) attack power attack first.<br>

* A confirmation display has been added to the land resource trade hub, clearly indicating the region you are swapping resources to and from.
* The bloodline of cards is now shown on the initial Manage worksite display.
* A filter has been added to the Tournaments page to show only tournaments where the Exemplar card is playable.
* Fixed a display issue when trying to transfer, or lock, plots when you had selected them across multiple regions.
* Fixed some issues where duplicate buffs would show up on some Units in battle - which was just a display issue and units didn’t actually have duplicate buffs.
* Added Gladius Cases to the all packs shop page, which will redirect to the Guild Shop if you are in a guild or the guilds page if you are not currently in one.
* Fixed some sizing issues where the Choose Your Path choice for new players, i.e. to do the Campaign or not, was not fitting properly on some smaller displays.
* A number of minor graphical and text improvements were made to some chapters of the Campaign.
