# Purchasing Booster Packs

Players can purchase Booster Packs (while supplies last) from the current main set, using [Credits](https://docs.splinterlands.com/dec/splinterlands-credits) or [Dark Energy Crystals](https://docs.splinterlands.com/dec/dark-energy-crystals-dec). Each card in a pack has a certain percentage chance of being a Common, Rare, Epic, or Legendary rarity, as well as a small chance of being a Gold Foil version of the card. Chances of flipping Gold Foil and Legendary cards can be doubled by purchasing *Alchemy* and *Legendary* Potions at a rate of 1 charge per card in a pack.

Every Booster Pack is guaranteed to contain at least one card that is Rare or better.
