# Using Bids on Peakmonsters

Cards can be sold instantly through Peakmonsters using Bids.

## Placing a Bid <a href="#placing-a-bid" id="placing-a-bid"></a>

If you are looking for a certain card but are unwilling to pay the current market price, you can always *place a bid* on [![](https://peakmonsters.com/static/favicons/favicon-16x16.png?v=tfg5y7)PeakMonsters](https://peakmonsters.com/) for exactly what you are willing to pay for that card. Bids are made using DEC, or Credits so to make a bid, you must have the appropriate amount of DEC in your Splinterlands account.

#### Note: The first time you place a bid, you'll be required to grant purchasing authority to Peakmonsters using your Active Key. This will allow Peakmonster to complete the requested transaction. <a href="#note-the-first-time-you-place-a-bid-youll-be-required-to-grant-purchasing-authority-to-peakmonsters" id="note-the-first-time-you-place-a-bid-youll-be-required-to-grant-purchasing-authority-to-peakmonsters"></a>

#### 1. Click the blue BID button next to any card.  <a href="#id-1.-click-the-blue-bid-button-next-to-any-card" id="id-1.-click-the-blue-bid-button-next-to-any-card"></a>

* Fill out the form with the details of your bid as instructed.

#### 2. Click CONFIRM to complete your bid. <a href="#id-2.-click-confirm-to-complete-your-bid" id="id-2.-click-confirm-to-complete-your-bid"></a>

## Selling to the Highest Bidder <a href="#selling-to-the-highest-bidder" id="selling-to-the-highest-bidder"></a>

If you would like to sell a card in a hurry, it's always a good idea to check the bids at Peakmonsters. Here's how to do that.

#### 1. Locate the card on the Peakmonsters MARKET page. <a href="#id-1.-locate-the-card-on-the-peakmonsters-market-page" id="id-1.-locate-the-card-on-the-peakmonsters-market-page"></a>

* Go to [![](https://peakmonsters.com/static/favicons/favicon-16x16.png?v=tfg5y7)PeakMonsters](https://peakmonsters.com/) and sign in.
* Next click on the buy tab in order to open the market page.
* Select the card that you would like to sell.

#### 2. Click BID to be taken to all current bids for that card. <a href="#id-2.-click-bid-to-be-taken-to-all-current-bids-for-that-card" id="id-2.-click-bid-to-be-taken-to-all-current-bids-for-that-card"></a>

* Here you will be able to view all current bids for the related card.
* Take note of the Current Highest Bid
* In this example, I would like to sell a 1 BCX Pelacor Mercenary for the highest bid price of $0.024

#### 3. Locate the card in your COLLECTION and check the box to the left. <a href="#id-3.-locate-the-card-in-your-collection-and-check-the-box-to-the-left" id="id-3.-locate-the-card-in-your-collection-and-check-the-box-to-the-left"></a>

* Click on the ‘My Cards’ tab to open your collection.
* Search your collection for the card that you wish to sell by making use of the filters available or entering the card name into the search bar.
* Check the box on the left-hand side of the card that you would like to sell.

#### 4. Once selected, click the CARDS icon in the upper right. Then click SELL.<br>

#### 5. Fill in the price you would like to sell your card for as pictured below: <a href="#id-5.-fill-in-the-price-you-would-like-to-sell-your-card-for-as-pictured-below" id="id-5.-fill-in-the-price-you-would-like-to-sell-your-card-for-as-pictured-below"></a>

* Not that you can set the Market fee, remember to take this into account when you enter the selling price of the card that you would like to sell.

#### 6. Click REVIEW <a href="#id-6.-click-review" id="id-6.-click-review"></a>

* Check the details and confirm the transaction.
* If your sell price correctly matches the bid, the order will be filled immediately and Dark Energy Crystals will be added to your account.
