# Untamed Untamed packs began to be sold in-game following the Beta Set being sold out. In this set, an additional reward system of *airdrops* based on packs sold was implemented. These airdrops took place every 100,000 packs sold and featured the release of a brand new card; players had a greater chance of receiving the new card based on how many Untamed packs they had purchased from [Splinterlands](http://splinterlands.com). The Untamed card edition boasted many new abilities that were not previously found on the cards of the Alpha or Beta sets.
